Dennis Knight is a senior technology operations and governance leader, now based permanently in Sydney after relocating from the UK. His career has been built at the intersection of enterprise technology, cyber risk, endpoint security, identity, modern workplace, vendor management, service delivery and operating-model change.

As a senior leader reporting directly to the CTO at Canterbury Christ Church University, Dennis led technology services across a 26,000-user, 4,500-endpoint estate — with A$2M+ in budget ownership and accountability across major vendors including Microsoft, Tanium, Dell and Jamf.

Results in that environment included a 98% reduction in critical vulnerabilities, 96% patch assurance achieved within six weeks, and the rationalisation of 2,500+ applications down to around 500 — generating approximately A$400,000 in annual savings. His early cloud endpoint strategy also enabled the organisation to move to full remote operations within two weeks during COVID, before most organisations had started planning.
